The Titans confirmed they finished interviews Friday with Polian and Robinson, bringing the number of candidates interviewed to five in three days.
He started in the NFL as an area scout for the New England Patriots in 2002 and became a regional scout in 2006 before becoming the Patriots' director of college scouting between 2009 and 2013 when they drafted Julian Edelman in the seventh round in 2009, Rob Gronkowski in the second round in 2010. The Patriots won 10 division titles, four AFC titles and two Super Bowls during Robinson's tenure in New England.

Polian is director of player personnel for the Jaguars and has been with Jacksonville since 2013. He started with the Colts as a director of pro scouting in 1998 before assistant director of football operations from 2001-03.
